Between Boston’s Faneuil Hall and Haymarket is Union Street with Marshall Street off to one side, winding crookedly to what was once the docks. These are some of Boston’s oldest streets and have a number of pubs to grab a pint and perhaps a meal. The Union Oyster is especially popular with the tourists.
Been there! Loved it! Thank you for sharing!
DARN!!! I was that close to those pubs and missed them? Must add these to list….Great shots, Chris.
Oh, I do have to get back to Boston one day!!
Come on back!
The signs all look so new. Business must be good; but then for pubs it usually is!
Especially in this area. It is big with the tourists. It is also not far from Boston’s sports and concert arena. It’s a pretty area.
Mostly tourists inside the pubs or locals?
I don’t go in these places much but I am pretty sure Union Oyster House is mostly tourist. They even have a gift shop. Places like Saus, which specializes in Belgian fries is more of a mix. Also, there will be more locals if there is a game at the arena. Always good photo ops though. Cheers!
Great shots Chris
I liked the one of the boards most
Have a great day:-)
Thank you, Soheir. Those boards are pretty cool. It is a fun area. I will be back that way tonight, I hope. It looks cool after dark. Cheers!
Every Bostonian has to eat at the Union Oyster House at least once in their lifetime – Durgin Park and Loch Ober too .
I’ve been here most of my life and so far have only made it to Durgin Park. The Oyster House is on my list, though.
I liked The Oyster House better than Durgin Park, they’re both pretty good though. Apparently, Locke Ober closed three years ago! There’s still Jacob Wirth’s at least.
We will have to check out the Union Oyster House sometime. Thanks!
Very interesting..!! Beautiful pictures..!!! : o )
Thank you, Francisco – Cheers!
You’re welcome my friend..!!! Cheers..!!! 🎄
Very warm portraits
Thank you so much…I love this area. I was there last night but it was too busy to really get any decent images. Cheers!
