The guide from Boston PhotoWalks…loves Holland and had visited many time. She said she always points out this pair of doors in Boston’s Back Bay because they remind her of the architecture in Holland.
They are both beautiful and the gardener in me loves the pots. But, most of all, I find the difference in the two homes that sit side by side intriguing. They are like looking at the difference between night and day. Amazing entry – you win this week. π
Oh thank you…I can only take credit for the photo. The credit for the lovely details go to the owners. I’m glad you are enjoying Boston. We just returned from the Independence Day celebrations.
Oh gosh…such a time difference. You are having your evening meal and I am thinking about breakfast. π
I’m glad you had a good day…now we have to figure out what we will do today.
Cheers =)

Wow! This is so beautiful, Chris.
Somehow, this reminds me of my favorite poem “The Road not Taken” by Robert Frost, where he must choose b/w the two equally beautiful roads, or let’s say doors for this stunning shot. π
Yes, everything is fine. Been very busy lately, and simultaneously my laptop also encountered a few issues. Finally it’s up and running. Thanks! π
And besides capturing such breathtaking shots, how is it going with you?
beautiful capture, Chris!! so interesting, two neighboring doors with different styles, most probaby reflecting the style of the owners of those homes… which makes me think now about my front door, omg, it’s grey, bland and stained lol :)))
Thank you…In this neighborhood, many people let their front area showcase their personality….You know, I think you can get some colorful paint for your door. π
Thank you, Janaline…I agree, especially on a street with a row of silimar looking brownstones. It is the owner’s way of putting his or her stamp on their home. Cheers =)
Oh, yes. I could live in either one. How beautiful they are! This Photowalks tour is amazing.
Thank you…She does four other tours plus workshops…I plan to be a repeat customer.
I can see myself living there. Beautiful shot!
Yes…but you know Back Bay rents…and gardening space. Ah, we have blossoms today on the zucchini!
So true about Back Bay, great news on your zucchini blossoms!
Almost time to start looking for our zucchini recipes.
I know before you know it, it will be coming out of our ears LOL
So pretty…
Thank you, Nancy Cheers =)

I like this image a lot. It is so beautiful when all the doors in a street look different from each other, each with its own beauty.
