This is the last set of images from the trip to Cape Cod. On our last day, we rode our bikes one of our favorite rides and ended at Cape Cad National Seashore. It is a very special place. We had a picnic at the top of the dunes and then I walked down to make a few images with the Lumix camera that comes with me on bike rides.
Starting tomorrow….let’s go to Boston, where I challenged myself to see things differently.
Haunting, savage, I love it. 🙂
Thanks, Laurie. I want to go back for a sunrise and make some color images.
I look forward to it. 🙂
Now I just need to make time to get back down the Cape…and the sun has to show up when I am there. 😀
Good luck with the sun, it seems that it has left us for a while. 🙂
Yes…today is a good day for photo editing. But the rain should help all the plants…and you and my wife won’t spend time watering. Cheers =)
Beautiful. I love the black and white.
Thank you. I am using it more these days and learning where it works best. Cheers. =)
Glad you are. It gives such a different mood.

Now THAT is a beautiful 50 shades of grey.
Subtle, serene
Thank you. That made me smile.
Oh, how great to see the beach in B&W! Nice!
Thank you Lois. Cheers=)
Wonderful! I always love your Black and White photos.
Thank you Kritika. BW is wonderful for certain types of images. Cheers =)
Cape Cod! I love dunes.
And they have some wonderful dunes there. Cheers =)
I see the pictures. My kind of landscape 🙂
Great photos.
Oh, thank you. Cheers =)
On my list of places to go one day 🙂
a very elegant series in bw!! great work…
Thank you…We arrived at about 1:00 in the afternoon and the midday sun totally drowned out the colors. Monochrome was a great choice, but I want to go back and see the sunrise reflected off these dunes. Cheers =)
I was going to ask you about the national seashore but I figured I’d talked your ear off enough. The Lower cape is my favorite part and I always spent as much time as I could on the beaches.
So, which beach was this? Let me guess…Nauset.
It is just east of Marconi at the end of Lecount Hollow Road. The rail trail ends at that road and then it is a half mile to the beach. Cheers =)
Well I guess all those cliffs look alike. Enjoy the rest of your trip
