This is for Teri from Images by Dashfield. She had commented on how much she liked Commonwealth Avenue during her visit to Boston. It is a great street with an island up the middle that is line with trees and has several statues and monuments. I’m guessing that she never saw it the way it looked on New Years night.
Note: “Comm Ave” is Boston slang for this street.
No! I did not see it beautifully lit like this π Thank you so much for this and Happy New Year to you, Chris.
You’re most welcome and Happy New Year to you also. Actually, this is the first time that I’ve ever seen it lit like this. My travels don’t typically bring me to Comm Ave in the winter. Cheers
Commonwealth Avenue has never looked like that when I’ve been in Boston. That is beautiful. I hope I make it up there during the winter holidays next year.
Yes, come up for a holiday visit. I really enjoyed walking around the city on the day after Thanksgiving and New Years. It’s great fun, though a bit chilly. π
It reminds me of Paris. Delightful!
Boston stole…um, borrowed, many design ideas from Paris. π
Thanks!
