Divine Magnolia

Magnolia Blossom at Lesley Divinity School

Yesterday, we cycled from Bedford, MA into Harvard Square and back. While it was cloudy and cool, the damp weather brought out many of the blossoms and the colors from that area. This week, I’ll be sharing photos from our ride. This photo of a Magnolia blossom was taken on the campus of Lesley College’s Divinity School.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Letters

The photo class that I attended last fall challenged us over the course of the month to see and photograph letters in the natural world as long as we did not photograph printed letters. Spring Day at the Beach

Spring Day at the Beach

Spring Day at the Beach

Yesterday, we had the day off and rode out to Plum Island in Massachusetts. It’s a barrier island connected to the mainland by a causeway. Part of the island is a collection of homes and vacation rentals but most of it is a wildlife refuge and Audubon sanctuary. We cycled over the causeway and the length of the refuge to this beach. While we ate our lunch, this boy came over and started to play with a tire buried in the sand.
