Okay, while Barclay’s cycles were fun, I don’t cherish them. But this photo represents a wonderful journey this summer with my wife, whom I do cherish. She graciously accompanied me on some evening photo shoots (like this one) and several times, we hired these bikes to get around London.

Milford Street 
I noticed those bikes in London – next time I’ll try to rent one!
They are fun. It took a bit to figure out how to use the kiosk, but once we did the city was ours. We stayed up near Notting Hill and discovered we could rent a bike in Kensington Garden and ride pretty much through green space all the way down to about a block from Trafalgar Square. There is a place to drop the bikes across from the Square somewhere around the Embankment tube station. I tell you this bit of information as we spent some time finding a drop off location. Have fun!

Actually, you can look up locations on your smart phone, but our US smart phones become rather dumb once overseas.
